Ingredients
Broccoli florets – 2 cups
Olive oil – 1 Tbsp.
Garlic powder – 2 tsp.
Smoked paprika – ½ Tbsp.
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
For Cheese Sauce
Butter – 3 Tbsp.
Almond flour – 2 Tbsp.
Unsweetened almond milk – ½ cups
Shredded cheddar cheese – 1 cup
Garlic powder – 1 tsp.
Salt to taste
Method
For broccoli: in a bowl, add all the ingredients and toss to coat well.
Arrange a steamer basket in the bottom of the Instant Pot and pour 1 cup of water.
Place the broccoli on top of the steamer basket.
Cover the lid and press Manual. Cook on Low for 10 minutes.
Press Cancel and do a Natural release.
Meanwhile, for cheese sauce: in a bowl melt butter over medium heat.
Add flour and beat well.
Slowly add almond milk and beat continuously.
Cook until thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes. Stirring continuously.
Add garlic powder, cheese, and salt and stir until smooth.
Remove the lid and transfer broccoli on serving plates.
Top with cheese sauce and serve.
